The Posaction® employee assistance program is designed to provide the organization and its employees with fast access to the appropriate professional
resources to help them resolve problems affecting health, performance and attendance. The program is designed to provide concrete measures for
preventing health problems, techniques for improving attendance and tools for improving the quality of the work environment.
Insureds and their immediate family members can receive up to a total of 12 hours of face-to-face psychosocial counselling for family difficulties, work-related difficulties, personal problems or dependency problems. Telephone counselling is also available for legal or financial problems, or for difficulties associated with eldercare or childcare.
The organization also has access to the services of an assigned consultant, information and promotional materials for employees, managers and union representatives, a post-traumatic counselling service, and program management tools to help improve the quality of the work environment and prevent absenteeism.
The program is sold as an insurance benefit under the group insurance contracts offered by our insurer-clients.
