The constant pressures individuals are faced, both personally and professionally, require a high degree of adaptability on their part. Many
people have trouble dealing with these kinds of pressures, and the resulting psychological imbalance often leads to health problems and increased
absenteeism, possibly resulting in absence from work. The program is designed to provide managers and union representatives with concrete solutions to
help them prevent absenteeism and reduce the number and length of absences.
These solutions consist of tools to help company managers deal with troubled colleagues, manage presence at work and prevent disability. Tools are also offered to union representatives to help them improve their human relations skills when dealing with troubled colleagues, and to help them keep health problems and resulting absenteeism issues from getting worse.
The program includes four components: distance training in human resources management (for managers) and in human relations (for union representatives), a professional telephone coaching service, a professional assistance referral service and a post-traumatic counselling service.
The program is included in the long-term disability benefits under our insurer-clients' group insurance contracts.
